Geraldine is a dancer, performer, choreographer, Tango addict, Tango DJ and foremost a Teacher

She has an extensive background in Ballet, Ballroom, Latin and her passion; Argentine Tango.

Geraldine  ‘Gigi”Goyer is one of the most well rounded and sought after dance instructors in the Lower Mainland with 35 years of Teaching experience

She has been a member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association, The Canadian Dance Teachers Federation World Dance Organization and and is a choreographer, performer on stage and screen but, first and foremost, a mentor to help her students achieve the goals they set for themselves. She is highly impassioned teaching youth, training future teachers as well as social dancers, of all ages and backgrounds, using simple yet detailed explanations with real world examples and demonstrations.

She teaches a full range of social dances from ballroom to Argentine tango. She has competed successfully in North American Style Latin and owned a successful dance school. She is now dedicated to teaching Argentine Tango and traveling and performing.

Argentine Tango swept her off of her feet 23 years ago as she studied with Tango masters such Carlos Gavito, Julio Balmaceda, Carlos Loyola, and Corina De La Rosa and Chicho Frumboli, Maximiliano Alvarado and Paloma Berrios, Albano Goldenberg  to name a few. She now enjoys teaching , Djing and organizing tTango events in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
